02A graded thread is a reading task first
Replies are marked on engagement, which means somebody has to have read the thread properly before writing anything. That is the part that takes the time, and it is the part students skip when the deadline is an hour away, producing the agreeable, empty response every faculty member recognises on sight.
So the thread is read before it is answered, and the response takes a position: extending the argument, qualifying it with evidence, or disagreeing with a reason attached. Sources are current and retrievable, cited in the manual the course names. Where the course also demands papers and a final, those can be taken together under full class help.
03Quiz windows are windows, not deadlines
A timed quiz opens, stays open for a period, and once you start it, it runs whether you are ready or not. Can I take this for just one bad week?
Yes. It is quoted by the week as readily as by the term, and a single fortnight is a common request from people whose shift pattern changes at short notice. No minimum period applies and there is no package to join. Tell us which weeks are impossible and only those get covered, at the cost of those weeks alone.
Does this include papers and the final?
No, and that is deliberate. This objective is the repeating layer: posts, replies, quizzes and short assignments. Major papers, projects and finals sit outside it, which is exactly why many students choose it. If you want everything carried, that is a different objective, quoted separately, with the full scope written out first.
Do the posts keep my voice?
They are written from samples of your earlier submissions, so sentence length, formality and habits of phrasing carry across. Consistency matters more here than anywhere else in a course, because a grader reads your contributions every week for months and notices a register that shifts.
