Module numbering tells you where a piece sits, and each milestone submits a component of the same final artifact. Feedback on the earlier component is the correction the later one applies. That structure is generous when you are inside it and unforgiving when you are not, because a skipped link removes guidance the next link was built to use.
So the final project is read first, in week one, before any milestone is drafted. Its rubric determines what each component has to contain and what it must not spend words on. Every milestone is then written as a finished piece of that document rather than as a placeholder to be replaced later, which is what turns the last week into assembly instead of composition.
Where a milestone has already come back with substantial comments, those are worked through explicitly before the next component starts, since carrying an uncorrected fault forward means paying for it twice.

02Eight weeks holds nothing spare
A term this short has no slack anywhere in it. Every module carries graded work, the milestones sit in specific modules, and there is no quiet stretch to absorb a week lost to illness or a shift pattern. What looks like a small slip in module three is still visible in module seven, because everything after it was scheduled against the assumption that module three closed.
The whole eight weeks is therefore dated at the start, milestones first, discussions layered underneath. That schedule is yours before drafting begins, and if it says the workload is unrealistic alongside your job, you get told that while there is still time to drop to one course. The recurring weekly load can also be taken alone under coursework ops.
03The weight is not spread evenly
Final project rubrics concentrate marks in a few criteria, and those criteria are frequently not the ones that take the longest to write. Formatting and length are cheap to satisfy and cheap to reward. Analysis, justification and the link back to the course outcomes are where the marks actually live, and they are the rows students run out of time for.
Drafting therefore starts with the heaviest criteria and gives them the most words, which sometimes means a shorter document than the one you imagined. Sources stay current and checkable, and citation follows whichever style the course names. I skipped a milestone. Can the final project still work?
Usually yes, but the missing component has to be built anyway, because the final depends on it whether or not it was graded. Send the course and your gradebook. A specialist works out what the lost points cost you, what still has to exist for the final to hold together, and whether the remaining weight makes the outcome you want reachable.
Do you write the milestones and the final project?
Yes, and they are handled by the same specialist for a reason. The final is an assembly of the components, so one person carrying all of them keeps the argument, the sources and the register consistent. Split that work across a pool and the last module turns into a reconciliation exercise, which is exactly the pressure the milestone structure exists to remove.
How are the weekly discussions handled?
One opening contribution plus two replies with real substance in them, all filed before their deadlines rather than on the closing evening. Replies answer what a classmate actually argued, since a graded thread rewards engagement over agreement. Across eight weeks that is a large share of the participation grade, and it is the part most often surrendered during a busy fortnight at work.
Can I hand over one course and keep the others?
That is the ordinary arrangement. Courses are quoted individually, so there is no bundle to buy into and no minimum. Most students hand over the one course whose milestone chain is destabilising everything else in the term, keep the rest, and take the pressure out of the eight weeks without giving up their whole workload.
